Projects
Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide. Below are the projects in which we are involved:
Current Projects
- Kiwanis Club of Missoula Annual Basketball Program in partnership with Missoula Parks and Rec (free league for grades 6-8) (see Kiwanis Basketball tab)
- Support and funding for Key Clubs (Big Sky High School, Sentinel High School), including college scholarships
- Support and funding for Circle K Club at University of Montana
- Support and funding for Aktion Club (adults with disabilities)
- Donations to and support of a variety of local organizations, primarily focused on helping the children and young people in our local community
- Support Lowell Elementary School (including our 5th Grade Students of the Month recognition program)
- Aid Station at the Missoula Marathon race
- Support 4H in the community through scholarships and prize monies
- Support non-profits that serve children 5 and under through the Priority One grant program

- Parking at the Western Montana Fair
- Parking at Logjam Kettlehouse Concerts
- Pancake Breakfast
Past Projects
- Donation to Montana Special Olympics
- Donation to Missoula Medical Aid
- Donation of $10,000 to the City of Missoula for the improvement of Kiwanis Park
- Ongoing donations to Kiwanis International’s Eliminate Project (elimination of maternal/neonatal tetanus worldwide)
- Donation to the Montana Natural History Center to create the Nature Adventure Garden
- Volunteer staffing for meals served at the Povorello Center
- Donation to the All Abilities playground in Missoula (Silver Summit)
