May 2026 Students of the Month
Lowell School Students of the Month
Here's what their teachers say about them:
Tre Jon is receiving the May student of the month award for his hard work in fifth grade. Tre Jon is kind, patient, and a great friend to others. He tries his best in his school work, and always participates in the lesson by raising his hand or volunteering to read things off the board. He is a great athlete and loves PE class. At recess, you can find Tre Jon playing football, soccer, or baseball. He also loves to play the clarinet in band class. Tre Jon has a great attitude and positive outlook on life. I am excited to see what Tre Jon continues to complete as he goes off to middle school, and hopefully, we can see him on TV playing for the Steelers in the NFL!
Willie is wise beyond his years, constantly amazing me with his thoughtful insights, critical thinking, and ability to see many sides of a story. Whether he is solving a complex class problem or uncovering deeper meaning in a reading passage, Willie consistently makes meaningful connections. He is a natural leader who quickly volunteers to help peers master difficult skills. Willie faces challenges with remarkable resilience. When something is difficult, he knows when to step away, take a breath, and return ready to try again. I am fortunate to have a student who teaches me so much.
